There is a difference between simply having tolerance for disease and obesity causing food in the name of “moderation” vs. “choosing” to do something moderately destructive at a particular moment in your life. Debatable to many I’m sure, but to me, buying into this moderation myth is a way to systematically compromise what you know to be right and as a result, in strengthens the muscle of tolerance which could easily lead to even more destructive choices in all the areas of your life.

The idea is that evolution built up our bodies to perform best using what nature naturally provides.
