The Myth of Living in Moderation

There is a difference between simply having tolerance for disease and obesity causing food in the name of “moderation” vs. “choosing” to do something moderately destructive at a particular moment in your life. Debatable to many I’m sure, but to me, buying into this moderation myth is a way to systematically compromise what you know to be right and as a result, in strengthens the muscle of tolerance which could easily lead to even more destructive choices in all the areas of your life.

Keep it Simple (and Natural)!

I have been reading quite a bit lately on the concept that we are just over-thinking our health and nutrition. It seems to make sense. The idea is that evolution built up our bodies to perform best using what nature naturally provides. Only in the past 75 years have we altered the natural foods and processed them into the frozen, packaged or canned concoctions we find at the supermarket or eat at the local fast food restaurant.
