What’s New in LifeSpace

We have made some great improvements in LifeSpace over the past few months and I wanted highlight a few for you

Financial Mastery: Tighten Expenses and Save

As we progress through the various steps of Financial Mastery, it’s worth reviewing some obvious, but often overlooked tips on tightening expenses and saving some extra cash.

Up for the 250 Challenge?

In the LifeSpace Community, Greg Ausley writes:Sometimes we just need a little motivation and I found some in the admittedly arbitrary number of 250. Out of nowhere, I decided that I wanted to do 250 crunches each day. Why 250? It is a number big enough to motivate me while not impossible to achieve. It [...]

Up for the 250 Challenge?

Sometimes we just need a little motivation and I found some in the admittedly arbitrary number of 250. Out of nowhere, I decided that I wanted to do 250 crunches (sit-ups) each day. Why 250? It is a number big enough to motivate me while not impossible to achieve. It is a big enough number to make a difference physically but not too hazardous.

Sometimes it takes a revolution

Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution is doing what I can’t believe we haven’t done ourselves. We have been standing by while our entire country fell for every diet fad and complete nonsense nutrition education. And all the time we continue to get heavier and develop more diseases at earlier and earlier ages. Well it finally looks like we are turning the corner.

Financial Mastery: Reduce Debt

Debt exists in all forms including home mortgages, college loans, auto loans and credit cards. Over the past few years we have learned the hard way that having too much debt in relation to our income is a disaster waiting to happen. But at this point, it is too late to alter that behavior, so now we have to accept where we are at and create a plan.

The Myth of Living in Moderation

There is a difference between simply having tolerance for disease and obesity causing food in the name of “moderation” vs. “choosing” to do something moderately destructive at a particular moment in your life. Debatable to many I’m sure, but to me, buying into this moderation myth is a way to systematically compromise what you know to be right and as a result, in strengthens the muscle of tolerance which could easily lead to even more destructive choices in all the areas of your life.

Pilates at Home

Although private Pilates instruction can be a bit expensive, especially with a true industry leader like Kloey, there is another option. Kloey took the time to create her first DVD, walking us through basic and advanced Pilates moves that will strengthen your core, shrink your body and help reduce those nagging injuries that can pop up during other strenuous activity.

For a Balanced Life, Just Dream It!

In order to find balance, we must first identify the areas we are trying to balance. I call these areas LifeSpaces and have determined that in general, most people’s goals and dreams fall under one or more of the following five LifeSpaces.
